Mudajaya Group Bhd says its unit, Mudajaya Corp Bhd (MCB), has won a RM55.5 million civil works project from Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd for Pengerang Cogen power plant in Johor. Mudajaya said the main civil works (without optional works) undertaken by MCB is expected to be completed by February 5 2016. In the event that Siemens Malaysia orders the optional works, MCB will be entitled to an equitable adjustment to reflect the increase or decrease in time required to perform the optimal works, it told Bursa Malaysia yesterday. The company added that the optional works are valued at RM157.9 million.
