Eastern Gate the next Iskandar growth centre
The Eastern Gate Development Zone will be the next growth centre in Iskandar Malaysia, offering good prospects for developers and investors.
Khalil Adis from Khalil Adis Consultancy Pte Ltd said the zone would be the perfect place for developers targeting first-time house buyers in Iskandar Malaysia.
He said its close proximity to Pengerang, where the multi-billion Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex is taking shape, would further boost demand for properties in the zone.
“Prices of residential properties in the Eastern Gate are still affordable to most first-time house buyers in Iskandar Malaysia,” he said in a talk on “First-time and Affordable Homes for Johoreans” held during the StarProperty.my Fair 2015 at Johor Baru City Square here.
Khalil said the average selling price of the houses by developers in the zone, at between RM200,000 and RM300,000 each, would attract first-time house buyers.
Sandy Paw of Arco Interior Design Sdn Bhd said landed property owners should include water features on the left side of their homes.
“The left side of the house is known as the Green Dragon and having water elements will bring prosperity and fortune to the occupants,” she said.
Paw said the right side of the house should be left blank or planted with plants.
I&P Group Sdn Bhd sales, marketing and product manager Arry Nazraun Ahmad said the company will be launching its new phase for homes next month.
Camwood@Taman Pelangi Indah will comprise 83 units of double-storey link homes in a gated and guarded community, and priced from RM620,000 to RM1.86mil each.
